Lea Michele tweets emotional photo with prop from 'Glee': Monteith's jersey

The television show "Glee is coming to a close after six seasons, and there is one piece of the show that star Lea Michele couldn't part from.

The 28-year-old star, who played Rachel Berry in the FOX series, posted a photo on her Instagram of a framed football jersey with the caption "One last thing."

Fans of the show will recognize the number five as the jersey of Finn Hudson, who was played by Michele's late boyfriend Cory Monteith.

Finn Hudson dated Michele's character Rachel Berry on the show, and life began to imitate art. Michele and Monteith started dating in 2011. They were still dating at the time of his death in 2013, when the 31-year-old died from a lethal combination of alcohol and heroin.

Michele took to social media this week to thank fans for supporting the show, tweeting: "I can't believe tomorrow is our last day at Glee. It is going to be such an emotional day. But I'm so grateful though to have had this incredibly amazing experience. Thank you so much to all of our amazing Gleeks who supported us so much! I love you guys. We were so lucky to have had the most amazing crew who worked so hard everyday to make the show amazing. I'm so grateful for them. So thank you all again so much from the bottom of my heart. I will miss Rachel Berry so very much."

After a series of emotional posts, Lea reminded us that nothing can keep her down. She tweeted: "Stay in bed and rest after wrapping Glee? No thanks.. I'd rather climb a mountain! #Happy#LivingtheFitLife."
