America Ferrera and Ryan Piers talk 'X/Y' with AOL BUILD

What's the secret to director Ryan Piers' success?

It could be casting his talented wife, actress America Ferrera, in his latest film "X/Y," which chronicles the lives of a group of friends in New York City.

That being said, directing your real-life wife in a film can't always be fun and games. He and Ferrera, who wed in 2011, will dish to AOL what it is like to work with your significant other on a film.

The duo will also discuss their new project, which stars Common, Danny Deferrari, Melonie Diaz and more.

This is the writer-director's second full-length feature.
