Kanye west invites 11M people out for a drink

Kanye West invited New Yorkers to grab a drink with him, then quickly withdrew it.

Yeezus is known for his music, videos, performances, and his ego -- but generally not for self restraint. However, the 37-year-old rapper demonstrated he is capable of giving things a second thought after deleting a tweet openly inviting New Yorkers to drink with him at The Spotted Pig.

The Grammy Award winner tweeted early Friday morning, "If you wanna have a drink with me, book a table at The Spotted Pig when i'm back in NY."

Twenty minutes later, the tweet was removed.

According to the New York Daily News, West and Taylor Swift were spotted exiting the small West Village restaurant Tuesday night (apparently they've put their "Imma let you finish" feud behind them) and West enjoyed the evening so much he wanted to open the invite to all of New York.

Either he had second thoughts about the offer or he realized The Spotted Pig doesn't take reservations.
