Virginia grandmother celebrates 106th birthday
Stuart, Va. – A Virginia grandmother has just celebrated her 106th birthday, and she shows no signs of slowing down any time soon.
Caroline Culler -- you can call her Granny Culler -- is a mom of six, and she's just as spunky as a teenager. She was born in 1909, and says she enjoys sewing, writing and playing music. "I can play anything," she explains proudly.
So, what's her secret? Well, she says she has never eaten eggs or onions, and doesn't like vegetables. While she's not a big fan of the healthy stuff, she does keep something sweeter next to her bed: Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. She also drinks Pepsi every day (though we're not sure a doctor would necessarily agree that the combo is a fountain of youth).
Besides her daily allotment of candy and soda, she says she also followed a simple rule over the past century and six years: "I tended to my business, and left other people's alone."
