'Tonight Show' returns to L.A. with epic 'Fresh Prince' skit
The "Tonight Show" made its way back to Los Angeles from New York Monday night, it's former home for nearly 42 years.
And, of course, Jimmy Fallon kicked off the show's weeklong stay out west with this epic spoof of the "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air."
"Now this is the story all about how my life got flipped turned upside down. And I'd like to take a minute if that's okay, I'll tell you how I brought the 'Tonight Show' back to L.A.," sang Jimmy Fallon on the "Tonight Show."
Three words: Alfonso. Ribeiro. Cameo.
We apparently just can't get enough of the Carlton on cable TV. "Dancing with the Stars," anyone?
But we weren't the only ones geeking out about the skit. Fans on Twitter couldn't get enough of it, calling it epic, sick and awesome, just to name a few of the rave reviews.
As a writer for Zap2it put it, "It was the perfect way to kick off a week of shows in California."
Though this isn't the first time Fallon has shown off his love for "The Fresh Prince."
"This is a story about how..."
He belted out the show's famous theme song as Neil Young back in 2012, to the delight of pretty much everyone.
We couldn't think of a better way to celebrate the "Tonight Show's" return to L.A. The show will be filmed out west until Thursday.
