Uzo Aduba had a tearful acceptance for the "Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series" SAG award. for her role as 'Crazy Eyes' in the Netflix original series 'Orange is the New Black.'

Newcomer Aduba was stunned by the win -- not only is 'OITNB' her very first role, but she was up against seasoned stars such as Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Amy Poehler.

She had an emotional speech saying, "I want to thank my friends, my family and finally, I just truly want to say the day I got this job was the day I stopped acting, and to be in a room with all you amazing human beings, you amazing talents -- is really truly the greatest honor. Thank you so much, God bless you all."

Her journey to being an award-winner is quite the story. Before "Orange is the New Black," she had just a few acting credits to her name. In The Daily Beast, Aduba wrote that she'd reached a "breaking point" before getting the part. The 'OINTB' actress tearfully revealed in her speech that she had quit acting the day she got the 'Crazy Eyes' role.

Clearly, all that has changed, and she has become an award-winning actress. We expect great things from Aduba in the future. Congrats, Uzo!
