Wild fashions rule the red carpet at the Fashion Los Angeles Awards

Apparently anything goes at the Fashion Los Angeles Awards.

Katy Perry, Rose McGowan and Miley Cyrus were just three of the big name stars that hit The Daily Front Row's 1st Annul Fashion Los Angeles Awards at Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood on Thursday in some questionable looks.

McGowan chose by far one of the wackiest syles of the evening with a purple Vulcan hat that framed her pale face. She paired the vibrant headpiece with a black turtleneck, wide-leg pants and a deep burgundy lip color.

"I'm officially starting my awesome hat week," McGowan tweeted of her look. "Tonight was 1930s Vulcan #millinery."

And while the former "Charmed" star scored one of the biggest fashion fails of the evening, Katy Perry's footwear choice wasn't much better. The "Dark Horse" singer stepped out in a set of 1990s-style shower shoes, which matched her funky pink attire.

Interestingly enough, Perry reportedly was overheard telling McGowan how much she liked her outrageous accessory. "I love your hat. It's so cute," the pop star said while waiting at the valet to get their cars according to E!. "When I saw you I didn't know it was you, and I thought, 'That lady must be in fashion.'"

Not to be left out of the fashion frenzy, Miley Cyrus decided to forego pants for the night and stepped out in an oversized white T-shirt with the words, "I had nothing to wear so I put on this Moschino dress." It certainly was a statement piece.
