Dad Speaks Out About Racist, Bullying Videos Sent to His Daughter

Brad Knudson of Minnesota is the father of an adopted African American girl. Recently, his daughter faced bullying and racism, so Knudson took to YouTube to air his frustration.

In the nearly 6-minute long video, the father of five explains that a girl who does not like his daughter was with her friends -- twin boys who are freshman at Prior Lake High School -- and the trio decided to send Snapchat video messages to his daughter.

They sent four messages laced with racism, and Knudson was able to record the last Snapchat video with his phone, which he shares in his YouTube video. You can hear the boys calling Knudson's daughter a slut and the n-word among other things.

Knudson says he was so urgent because they have family friend's whose son committed suicide at the age of 13 because of bullying and he just could not have this situation hanging over his family.

Knutson eventually got a hold of the twins' father who told Knudson he didn't see what the big deal was, and he used to do that sort of stuff as a kid.

The twins' father later left a harassing voicemail for Knudson, which he also shares in the YouTube video. Knudson says he told the father he planned to share the voicemail on social media, and the father said he didn't care.

Since this story came out, the twins' father has lost his job.
