Bethenny Frankel gets called out for lying by Meredith Vieira

Reality star Bethenny Frankel was put on the hot seat this week during an interview with Meredith Vieira.

Frankel brushed off headlines accusing the Skinny Girl mogul of being, well, too skinny -- but she couldn't shrug off every issue.

Vieira played Frankel a clip from an earlier show of the reality star denying she would return to RHONY.

'Two weeks later, two weeks later you announce, "Oh, I'm back on the show." Why would you lie to me? Or as they say on the Housewives, Why would you lie to me b****?' Vieira jokingly asked.

In October, US Weekly reported that Frankel is slated to return to Bravo for season 7 of the Real Housewives of New York after leaving the series in 2010 -- a fact that Frankel chose not to share last time she sat down with Vieira.

In typical Bethenny form, she didn't back down when she was called out -- playfully starting her response with 'listen b****.'

"I had no deal to go back on Bravo and you know, Meredith Vieira, with your own talk show, that if you don't have a deal and it's not signed, the deal can fall through anytime."

"I did say I am talking to Andy Cohen about a couple of different projects and I was talking about that one and I was talking to him about another one," Frankel continued. "I would not lie."

Either way Bethenny is tapped to return to the show in an effort to boost viewership which is dwindling. The man at the helm of the housewives franchises, Andy Cohen says he's thrilled to have his Skinny Girl back.

"Bethenny is one of the most popular Housewives in the history of the franchise, and I couldn't be more excited she is coming home to Bravo!" Cohen said.
