Ready for wedding! Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder are engaged

Nikki Reed will walk down the aisle again!

The "Twilight" actress, 26, is engaged to "The Vampire Diaries" star Ian Somerhalder, 36, after six short months of dating, reports E! news.

The smitten duo, who have been friends for years, linked up over the summer and were spotted canoodling as early as July. They sparked engagement rumors last weekend after Reed wore a large diamond ring on her right hand finger to a Golden Globes party.

The cute pair's romance came hot on the heels of Reed's split from her husband of two years, Paul McDonald. She finalized her divorce from the "Idol" alum in January.

Around the time her marriage ended, Somerhalder was also on the market after parting ways with his longtime girlfriend and co-star, Nina Dobrev.

While the news of their engagement has certainly raised some eyebrows, there's no denying the duo are head over heels for each other. The happy couple's Instagram accounts have been overflowing with gushy posts about one another and their collaborations.

Most recently, the pair revealed they are starting a production company together.

"Nikki and I are starting a production company and we're going to be able to tell even more stories that we really want to tell, everything from documentaries to TV shows to movies...all kinds of stuff," Somerhalder told E! earlier this month.

Perhaps, they'll have to start working on a documentary about planning a wedding.
