Wednesday night's episode of "My 600-lb. Life" feature Forty-seven-year-old Olivia weighed 578 pounds before undergoing weight-loss surgery.
Over a year after her surgery, she shed an astonishing 337 pounds. She couldn't wait to show her mother, Minerva, because she said seeing her happy meant everything to her.
Minerva couldn't believe how much her daughter had changed, and it seemed Olivia's life was only getting better. Until a few months later, when Olivia learned Minerva had suddenly passed away shortly after becoming very sick.
"Losing my mother is the hardest thing I've ever experienced. With her passing, I can easily give up and say I don't care," said Olivia on "My 600-lb Life."
But Olivia didn't give up. She resisted the urge to binge eat to comfort herself and continued with her weight loss journey.
By the end of the emotional episode, she had lost 386 pounds, bringing her weight to a total of 192.
Olivia's heartbreaking story had many viewers on Twitter in tears, but many admitted her motivation inspired them to set their own weight loss goals.
Olivia says she has just another 20 pounds to go before she reaches her goal. And even though she wishes her mother was here to see it, she still feels amazing about her progress.
