Is this the last year of 'The View'?
Things aren't looking good for The View.
Network insiders told the The Daily Mail the talk show that's been running since 1997 might not live to see another year due to bad ratings. Numerous outlets have published stories about the show's inside struggles over the last year.
An insider reportedly told TMZ that Rosie O'Donnell is "impossible to deal with"...
And E! Online reported Whoopi Goldberg has been "rude to [other] members of the cast and crew, both on and off camera."
But bad attitudes aside, The View just can't seem to hold its own in the ratings department, despite a new set, new hosts, new introduction and new topics.
An insider told The Daily Mail, "The brass at ABC feels like they've tried to do everything possible to breathe new life into this show... ABC feels it's exhausted their options with The View and now it's time to expand the existing franchise, GMA. They feel that since GMA is already beating NBC's Today during the first two hours of the broadcast, why not extend the morning broadcast."
