Mother loses nearly 100 lbs. after neighbor called her 'a fat little buddha'
Telling someone they are really packing on the pounds is never a comfortable situation, but for one mother, her haters became her motivators.
Natalie White Doodson, 28, from the United Kingdom wore a size 22 dress and weighed 240 pounds when her neighbor called her "a fat little Buddha." It was that comparison to the portly spiritual figure that caused her to make some dramatic lifestyle changes.
After 8 months of cutting out processed food, snacking, and kicking her chocolate habit, the mother of one is a slender size 8, losing nearly 100 pounds.
Natalie says she tried Weight Watchers and a juice diet, but it wasn't until she tried the Cambridge Weight Plan that she noticed a difference. The plan includes one-on-one consulting as well as an eating plan to reduce caloric intake.
Doodson says she can't thank her neighbor enough for giving her the motivation to drop the weight adding she has no fears about being compared to "a fat little statue anymore."
