Best and worst dressed stars at the 2015 Golden Globes

Updated

The Golden Globes kicked off the 2015 awards show season, and lots of celebs came out swinging with hot dresses that set the standard for the rest of the spring.

Lemon yellow dresses seemed to be the hot color of the season with actresses Naomi Watts, Leslie Mann and Jenna Dewan-Taum going for the sunshine tone that worked wonders on all of them. The flattering color was a nice change from basic black, as well.

Another stunner of the evening was Sienna Miller who rocked an on-trend long bob and a beaded boho gown.

Of course, we can't talk about glamorous red carpet fashion without mentioning George Clooney's new wife, Amal. The international human rights lawyer stole the show in a "Breakfast at Tiffany's"-like look with a black dress and white gloves, which she revealed were her own. For his part, Clooney wore the same tuxedo that he donned for their Venice wedding. Could they get any more perfect?

Best dressed celebrities at the 2015 Golden Globes:

While some stars nailed their red carpet looks, other failed to wow and may need to find new stylists before the SAG aAards later this month. The entire cast of HBO's "Girls" left us underwhelmed with ill-fitting dresses and an odd decision to match hair and dress color.

Claire Danes is beautiful no matter what she wears, but her Valentino dress seemed to be a little big in the bust. Laura Pepon kept it simple in black, but came off looking a bit like Morticia Addams with her shiny dark hair.
