Brother Of Oscar Pistorius' To Be Charged With Crime
A brother of jailed Olympian Oscar Pistorius will be charged with a crime of his own.

Carl Pistorius, the 29-year-old older brother of the Paralympic runner, will be charged with reckless and negligent driving after crashing his car last August.

According to The Telegraph, he didn't submit a statement to police after the accident and ignored several attempts by an investigating officer to obtain his statement.

"One of the biggest reasons he is being charged is because he failed to co-operate with the police investigation," according to a colonel in the South African Police Service.

The crash landed him in intensive care with ruptured organs and a severe leg injury.

This is the second crash for which he faced charges. Last May, he was acquitted of a culpable homicide charge after hitting a motorcyclist.

The elder Pistorius is no stranger to the courtroom. He attended his younger brother's high-profile trial where Oscar Pistorius was sentenced to five years in prison for culpable homicide after killing his girlfriend, model Reeva Steenkamp.
