Known for making PC gaming peripherals (including keyboards, mice, and headsets), Razer has its sights on a different type of hardware: virtual reality headsets.

According to Engadget, Razer plans to release every detail of the headset and software as open-source, meaning developers and otherwise tech-savvy individuals can create their own versions of the headset.
