How Jimmy Fallon totally blew a date with Nicole Kidman

When it comes to celebrity dating, you rarely hear about the could-have-been romances.

But on the "Tonight Show," Nicole Kidman revealed she was interested in getting with Jimmy Fallon once upon a time. But he totally blew it on their very first date.

"You wouldn't talk. You didn't say anything. You were like, 'Hey,'" said Nicole Kidman on the "Tonight Show." "And then you put a video game on or something, and I'm like, 'This is so bad!' And then I thought, 'Maybe he's gay.'"

Ouch. Imagine how it must feel knowing that you messed up your chances with the Nicole Kidman.

But Jimmy certainly can't feel too awful about it. The late night host welcomed his second child, adorable baby Franny, with wife Nancy just last month via a surrogate.

And Nicole isn't too upset about it, either. Come on, she's married to a rock star.

She even gushed about her husband Keith Urban and their two children earlier this week on NBC's "Today" show.

"We have a very easy, warm, peaceful life. And I think that's, you know, that's something that I always wanted, and I was heading towards," said Nicole Kidman on the "Today" show.

But fans still couldn't help sounding off on Twitter, calling the interview "hilarious" and probably secretly wishing this relationship had actually happened. Just like the rest of us.
