Nicole Kidman is being sued by her New York neighbor.

The Australian actress bought a penthouse in Chelsea with her hubby Keith Urban in 2010. The Huffington Post notes that Kidman "scooped up" the Chelsea penthouse, paying just $10 million. That sure doesn't sound cheap, but it's $2.5 million below the asking price.

Two years later, her neighbor Leonard Steinberg claimed Kidman's pipes burst and flooded his apartment, causing more than $46,000 in damages. Now, he's suing.

Kidman reportedly had copper piping installed on her terrace but the contractor didn't install insulation or heat tape around the pipes and they were never drained before winter hit. According to the suit, the pipes froze and then exploded.

Kidman recently spoke about living outside of Hollywood, saying, "I have purposely realigned my life so that I'm not living in a fishbowl." Well ... if only her neighbor could say the same.
