This peanut butter banana smoothie is great for breakfast or as a healthy dairy-free milkshake. Kefir adds probiotics. Cacao, coconut oil and raw honey are powerful anti-oxidants and full of health benefits.
Serving Size: 1 Prep Time: 5 mins Total Time: 5 mins
1 ripe banana
2 tsp peanut butter
1 tsp raw cacao nibs or dark chocolate 70% or higher
1 tsp raw honey
½ tsp vanilla
½ tsp coarse sea salt
1 cup almond milk
¼ cup lactose-free kefir (optional)
1 Tbsp extra-virgin coconut oil (optional)
Combine all the ingredients in a food processor or blender. Puree until smooth. Transfer to a glass and enjoy.
