Jim Harbaugh, Oakland Raiders allegedly met according to CBS Phoenix sports reporter
Jim Harbaugh is all but going to Michigan with reports surfacing that he will be announced with a press conference after being introduced at the Wolverines Big Ten home opener against Illinois on Tuesday. However there is a reporter out of CBS 5 in Phoenix, Arizona who is claiming that he has sources that the 49ers head coach met with the Oakland Raiders on Sunday.
Joe Pequeno, who again is a Sports Anchor/Reporter at CBS 5 in Arizona, reported that the two sides met according to his sources. There aren't confirming reports out there, so Pequeno's tweets are all that is linking the two sides to a confirmed meeting at this time.
Source confirms Jim Harbaugh met with Raiders after Sunday's game against AZ. More of a courtesy interview. #JimHarbaugh#Raiders

Source says Michigan Officials didn't flinch when Harbaugh met with Raiders. They knew Harbaugh was going to Michigan. #JimHarbaugh

Now nobody knows for sure if this report is true, again it is hard to put full belief in the word of one reporter who is out in Arizona on a story that is coming from both the Bay Area and Ann Arbor who have been on the story for the past month. Regardless of its validity the report doesn't change much as the Raiders are still very likely to lose out on Harbaugh, who all for an official signing and announcement is on his way back to the college ranks come later this week.
