Hollywood endings: Celebrities who divorced in 2014

Celebrities are the masters of hush-hush weddings.
With their secret nuptials exchanged in discreet locales, lovestruck stars are able to keep their wedded bliss hidden for weeks, months, and even years. But when that pretty little knot they tied privately starts to unravel, there's nowhere to hide.
Divorces are public fodder -- with fans and foes alike feeding on every juicy tidbit.
Irreconcilable differences play out on magazine covers, on social media and in obscure blog posts entitled "Conscious Uncoupling," as in the case of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin.
And when devoted wedlock turns into divorce deadlock the breakup ceases to be amicable.
A-listers Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon separated in May and are now rumored to be sparring over property, spousal support and "dem babies," though they still haven't filed the necessary official paperwork to finalize their split.
From their unlikely union that initially seemed to beat the odds to committed couplings that lasted over two decades, we're trotting out the parting pairs whose fairytale Hollywood marriages have faded to black in 2014.
