'Sons Of Anarchy' actor charged with killing, eating ex's pet rabbit
'Sons of Anarchy' star Dimitri Diatchenko was charged with felony counts of animal cruelty and making threats after police say he killed, cooked and then ate his ex-girlfriend's pet rabbit.
The L.A. county district attorney's office says the 46-year-old sent his ex images documenting the process, which unfolded in their apartment in north Hollywood. According to photos posted on Facebook by Diatchenko, the rabbit was named Miss Ella.
When Diatchenko's ex came home, he allegedly threatened to do the same to her.
The two reportedly broke up months ago and continued living together, but she recently told him they should find separate places.
Diatchenko is telling a different story. He claims it was all just a hoax and only bought rabbit meat to make her think it was her pet.
He is due in court December 30th and faces more than four and a half years in prison if convicted.
