Chris Rock revealed pal Tracy Morgan is doing much better six months after he was severely injured in a crash.

"How is Tracy Morgan now?" David Letterman asked on the "Late Show."

"He's doing okay man, I mean, he's, it's day-to-day, a lot of therapy, man. But, you know, I'm hoping for the best," Chris Rock replied.

"So he'll be back, you're pretty sure?" Letterman asked.

"I hope so," said Rock.

Morgan, who stars alongside Rock in the new movie "Top Five," was riding in a limo bus with other comedians and friends after performing standup when a Walmart truck slammed into their vehicle.
Comic James "Jimmy Mack" McNair was killed in the accident, and Morgan and several others were injured.

Morgan has been undergoing therapy ever since the horrific crash, and his lawyer said in November he's still fighting to return to the person he was before it happened.

But it's good to hear Morgan is in better spirits now, considering Rock said in an interview with USA Today in October the comedian was still "traumatized" by the event.

And Morgan is reportedly very happy with his performance in the movie "Top Five," which he filmed alongside Rock before the accident. The film is in theaters now.
