Bad News About Your Thanksgiving Travel Plans

Traveling home for Thanksgiving can be hell, and this year it looks like that hell is freezing over.

Thanksgiving Eve is one of the busiest travel days of the year, and it's bound to be even more difficult for people traveling on the East Coast as meteorologists predict a snow storm. AccuWeather says a storm system is set to ride up the East Coast midweek so anyone living in its path can expect to see heavy rainfall, possibly even snow.

"The track will determine whether its rain, heavy rain or snow," WCAU meteorologist Brittney Shipp reports. "If it stays near the coast there will be more snow. If it stays further away there will be less snow and more rain."

The snow and wet roads would lead to traffic, flight delays, and create a traveling nightmare straight out of the film "Planes, Trains & Automobiles." Good news for the rest of the country, though; the weather on Thanksgiving looks to be great.
