Natalie Dormer to talk 'Hunger Games' role with AOL
"Game of Thrones" fans know her best as Margaery Tyrell, but the 32-year-old actress is headed to the big screen in the upcoming "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1."
The striking British star will play butt-kicking documentarian-turned-revolutionist, Cressida. In the flick, Cressida films Katniss' Mockingjay PSAs for the Panem population and while she's at first resistant to join the revolution's cause, she ultimately tosses on combat boots and joins Katniss and her crew.
"I'm pretty much Katniss' guide for the majority," Dormer dished to E! of her role.
And in case there was any question that Dormer kicks you know what, she shaved off half her hair for her role in the hit franchise.
Dormer joins a number of new characters in the latest chapter of "The Hunger Games." Evan Ross is set to play Messalla, Elden Henson is set to play Pollux, Wes Chatham will play Castor, and Julianne Moore will play President Coin.
Natalie will join director Francis Lawrence and film producer and MAKER Nina Jacobson for a live interview with AOL at 3 p.m. EST on Friday. Tune in above!
