Father of the bride pulls off surprise Elvis performance
This video is totally safe for work, but it's a little dangerous if you don't want to get misty-eyed.
John Butcher, father of the bride, surprised everyone at his daughter Natalie's wedding. After his speech, he broke into a very sweet rendition of Elvis Presley's 'Always on My Mind.' (Note: It was originally sung by Brenda Lee in 1972, and Elvis' version is one of many famous covers.)
The 50-year-old from Allington, Kent, UK, apparently spent 200 hours learning to sing so he could pull off this performance. There wasn't a dry eye in the house as he serenaded his daughter and new son-in-law.
The entire room joined in when he came to the chorus, and they burst into applause as he sang the final few lines of the nearly four-minute song.
No doubt he deserved a standing ovation -- and of course, he got one.
This isn't the only emotional (and viral) moment from a wedding this week. Check out this incredible gallery of a paraplegic groom who found a way to 'dance' at his wedding:
