Daughter calls mom 'beautiful' after ambush makeover

We always look forward to Kathie Lee & Hoda's ambush makeovers.

We're highlighting 31-year-old Chelsea this time. Before the makeover, you'll see that she had shoulder-length, toffee-colored hair. She told the show that the last time she dyed it was in college ... and that was a bright red color.

Stylist to the stars Louis Licari is the man behind Chelsea's awesome new hair color.

When she looked at herself in the mirror, Chelsea couldn't believe her eyes: "Oh, my gosh! Wow!"

"You look like Amy Adams," Hoda told her.

Hey, looking like Amy Adams is pretty much the ultimate compliment.

Chelsea is even going to a wedding this weekend, and we're sure she's excited to show off her new look. If she doesn't, we know her daughter, Bianca, certainly will. She told her mother she looked "beautiful" after the reveal.

Twitter users were appreciating the new look, too. One wrote that she loves seeing how happy and beautiful the people feel after they check out their new looks.

Some tips are:
- Get there early, like 6 a.m. EST early.

- Look bad. Okay, this is our wording. Just don't look good! That's the point of the makeover, after all.

- Let the hosts know you're there for a makeover when they scout out the crowd.
