That's certainly a new look, Rihanna!

The Barbados-born babe, who typically favors risqué ensembles, covered up to commemorate Veteran's Day on Tuesday night at the Concert of Valor in Washington D.C.

Stepping onto the stage at Washington D.C.'s National Mall and out of her signature 'barely-there' look, the 26-year-old songstress belted out "Diamonds" and more of her best-selling hits to salute the men and women who have served on America's behalf.

And the diamonds weren't limited to her shimmering lyrics.

The "Stay" crooner's glitzy black cape -- complete with a jewel-studded high neckline --and sparkling matching tights shined just as bright as her vocals.

She topped off her attire with sleek, long locks and a red matte lip, which proved she could make a conservative ensemble razzle-dazzle at the star-studded event.

While Rihanna covered up, another pop star sounded off. Rapper Eminiem, who closed out the celebratory show, ended his set by inappropriately shouting, "Happy Motherf---ing Veterans Day."

Despite Eminem's distasteful remarks, the show seemed to be a success! Metallica, Jennifer Hudson, The Black Keys, Bruce Springsteen, and Carrie Underwood were among the other acts.
