Ashley Tisdale loves newlywed life and has big plans for Thanksgiving

Ashley Tisdale certainly has the newlywed glow!

The 29-year-old actress, who tied the knot with her boyfriend of two years Christopher French in September, caught up with AOL and dished about her new life as a Mrs.

"Newlywed life is amazing. It doesn't feel any different but then it is different," Tisdale revealed. "I can't really explain it but, we're very natural with each other and we're excited too. We'd been planning for so long and keeping the wedding so secret that now it is so great to really enjoy it."

The former "High School Musical" star is also taking on her first big holiday as a married woman.

"I am hosting Thanksgiving with my husband at the house," she shared.

Her special first holiday is perfectly timed to her latest project, too. Tisdale recently partnered with ShoeDazzle, where she selected a black ankle bootie to benefit St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. The faux leather boot, which Tisdale says are her go-to footwear, feature cute straps and buckles.

"I am obviously a big fan of fashion and shoes and shoes and shopping. When ShoeDazzle told me about this project, I was really excited to be a part of it, especially since the money goes back to charity," Tisdale dished about her involvement. "I got to pick my charity of choice, which was St. Jude. I am a big supporter of St. Jude. I'd been to the hospital a year and a half ago and met the children. Actually, one of the children that I hung out with, Bailey, she actually took the boots that I chose and decorated them."

It sounds like the stunning star is hitting the finer point of the upcoming November holiday: It's all about giving back!
