Dying Woman Granted Last Wish To See Her Beloved Horse

Sheila Marsh, a 77-year-old with terminal cancer, was granted one last meeting to say goodbye to Bronwen, her horse of 25 years. Marsh raised Bronwen from a foal to an adult, and competed in shows with the horse.

Staff at the Wigan Infirmary in the United Kingdom arranged for Bronwen to come to the hospital from Marsh's farm. Marsh was wheeled outside where she was able to see the horse for one last time, and died just hours later.

Marsh's other two dying wishes were also granted: To say goodbye to her dog, Poddy, and for her daughter Tina and her father to speak after being estranged for years.
