Politician's defeat summed up with Taylor Swift lyrics

DES MOINES, Iowa - On News 13, a local Iowa station, political analyst Jerry Crawford used songstress Taylor Swift's lyrics to summarize Rep. Bruce Braley's (D-Iowa) loss to Sen. Joni Ernst (R) on Tuesday night.

The candidates were vying to replace retiring Sen. Tom Harkin (D-Iowa).

We're pretty sure Braley won't appreciate being told to "shake, shake it off," but if Taylor Swift can get over her one zillion breakups, maybe Braley can move forward, too.
