Police Arrest Virginia Mother Over Disturbing Photo Of Son

This is the photo that got one Virginia mom thrown behind bars.

Alexis Breeden, 18, has been charged with felony child abuse after Spotsylvania police got word of the picture, showing her 14-month-old son hanging by his shirt from a hook, on Facebook.

"We received a lot of comments on it. People were horrified. The baby's father and mother had an argument. In retaliation the father posted this on Facebook to get the mother in trouble."

The father, identified as 18-year-old Anthony Welch, was not involved in the alleged abuse. Investigators say Breeden took the picture sometime in early September and even posted the photo on her *own* page, saying she was "just playing around."

Fortunately the child was not harmed in the incident. Breeden has since posted bond and is not allowed to spend time with her son alone.
