'By Way of Helena' taps Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson and Kim Hidalgo

"By Way of Helena, the latest film from Kieran Darcy-Smith, has begun filming in Mississippi.

The revenge flick includes an all-star cast with Liam Hemsworth and Woody Harrelson in the title roles rounded out by veteran thespians Kim Hidalgo, William Hurt and Alice Braga.

The feature film, set in the Great Plains in the late 1800s, follows Texas Ranger David Kingston (Hemsworth) as he investigates a series of mysterious murders and disappearances in an isolated frontier town, where he finds himself at odds with the local preacher (Harrelson) who holds the town in a fearful grip. As David discovers the secrets behind the murders, he's forced to face the town.

Darcy-Smith's sophomore project is being produced by Mandeville Films' Fighter duo, David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman.
