'House Of Cards' Actress Elizabeth Norment Dies At 61



Actress Elizabeth Norment died on October 13 at the age of 61.

Her agent confirmed the death, saying she passed away at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, but did not release any other details.

She recently starred as Kevin Spacey's executive secretary on the Netflix original series 'House of Cards.'

Her co-stars remember her as a warm soul and a good friend.

Kevin Spacey tweeted, "RIP Elizabeth Norment. We all loved her and she leaves a void in all of us here at HoC's."


The show's production team released a statement saying, "Elizabeth Norment was a talented actress with a beautiful spirit who touched the entire 'House of Cards' family."

Norment was a veteran in the Hollywood scene.

She was known for her roles in "Romy and Michele's High School Reunion" and "Runaway."

She also played a judge on "Law & Order," and appeared on numerous popular TV series like "ER," "L.A. Law," and "Doogie Howser, M.D."
