Stars celebrate Halloween: 2014's best costumes

Stars have been celebrating Halloween for nearly a week -- and they certainly haven't disappointed considering they're probably saving their best costumes for the actual night of Halloween.

Halloween festivities kicked off early in Tinseltown as the stars stepped out to party it up in their best costumes last weekend, but that was just the beginning.

A-listers like Kate Hudson and Ashley Benson went with super-trendy sugar skull makeup for a Mexican-themed party. Meanwhile, supermodel Crawford went undercover as another iconic figure, Cher.

"Teen Wolf" hottie Colton Haynes, 26, took the prize for coolest costume at "Glee" star Matthew Morrison's party. The hunky heartthrob went totally undercover as a the ogre-version of Princess Fiona from "Shrek."

Later in the week, Kate Hudson and friends dressed up as very sexy "Sons of Anarchy" characters with an amazing cameo from the "Mother of Anarchy" Goldie Hawn! But it was Katy Perry who made huge headlines with her very "hot" costume -- as a Cheeto, of the "Flamin' Hot" variety, complete with a Cheetos bag purse.
