MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Officials say a Delta Air Lines plane clipped wings with a smaller jet as the two were preparing to take off from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.

An airport spokesman says no one was hurt in Wednesday night's incident.

The Delta 757 was bound for Los Angeles. The Embraer E175, flown by the Delta feeder Compass Airlines, was bound for Louisville, Kentucky. Both returned to their gates with wing damage.

The cause of the collision wasn't immediately known.
