Smart ape lights campfire, roasts marshmallows

Kanzi, a 33-year-old bonobo, was born and raised the United States. The bonobo lives at the Primate Learning Sanctuary in Iowa and has grown up in a bi-cultural world of bonobos and humans.

Bonobo apes are often considered our closest primate relatives, but the similarities seen in this video are mind-blowing nonetheless.

Watch as the Kanzi lights a campfire, roasts marshmallows, and even puts out the fire. Pretty amazing, huh?
