Renée Zellweger looks totally different!

The "Bridget Jones's Diary" star, 45, stepped out with her musician boyfriend, Doyle Bramhall II, at ELLE's 21st annual Women In Hollywood Awards on Monday, and was nearly unrecognizable.

This was a rare appearance by the acting veteran. After a series of slam dunk hits in the 90s and 2000s like "Jerry McGuire," "Chicago," and "Cinderella Man," the actress has not appeared in a movie since 2010's lukewarm "My Own Love Song."

In fact, the Academy Award winner really hasn't been in the news since she and Bradley Cooper broke off their yearlong relationship in 2011.

Many are speculating that the star has gotten some work done in those four years off the screen. The general consensus seems to be a lift to her distinctive eyes and changing her eyebrow style. The results are pretty dramatic though.

Fans took to Twitter to express their surprise and less-than-supportive opinions.

Others jumped to Renée's defense.

But this isn't the first time people have commented about Renée's face morph.

Back in March, she hit the red carpet for a charity event in San Francisco and got tongues wagging over looking slightly different.

She's never publicly commented about any work, so perhaps it is the lighting, her make-up, some minor nip and tucks, or she is just aging. Let us know what you think in the comments.
