It's your typical love story: boy meets girl, girl dumps boy, boy auctions off girl's vacation ticket on eBay. Who said romance is dead?

Jake Dodridge, a 21-year-old IT tech from the UK, planned to take his girlfriend on a romantic trip to Venice. Unfortunately, his girlfriend broke up with him and Jake can't get a refund for the vacation that cost him over a thousand dollars.

So he did what most people do these days: he turned to the Internet.

The eBay listing includes, "the flight, tickets, and hotel stay for four nights!" He's not even really looking to make friends because Jake makes it very clear he's "looking for FEMALES ONLY between the ages of 18-30." He also requests photos to make sure the bidders are who they say they are.

eBay took down the listing, but according to this photo on Jake's Facebook page, at one point the bidding was up to $160,000.
