Alan Cumming Reveals His Side Of The Shia LaBeouf 'Cabaret' Arrest Story

On "Conan," actor Alan Cumming shared his side of the whole Shia LaBeouf arrest story at a performance of Alan's Broadway musical, "Cabaret," earlier this year.

"He was just wasted. And he was wasted from the second he walked into the thing. So there was an atmosphere when I went down to go on stage to start the show, everyone was freaking out because there was, you know, someone who seemed to be a crazy person shouting."

Alan was, of course, talking about the night Shia was arrested at the show in New York for drunken behavior.

According to police, the "Fury" star was smoking inside the theater and acting "loud and disruptive" during the first act. He was reportedly handcuffed and escorted out of the venue during intermission.

Alan, who's the master of ceremonies for "Cabaret," apparently walks into the audience during the show. And he told Conan Shia even whacked and grabbed him as he was walking by his row.

Shia actually addressed the incident on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" last week.

"Alan Cumming walks past me, and I forget all about that again. And all I'm thinking about is the leather pants and him winking at me. And he walks past me, and I give him a slap on the ... because I think he deserves it."

Despite the awkwardness of the situation, Alan said he commends Shia for taking responsibility for his actions and he forgives him for his rude behavior during the performance.

Especially because Shia apparently called Alan "the sexiest man he had ever seen."
