Condé Nast Traveler readers find top 25 cities in the world
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go? If you're looking for suggestions, a magazine survey has some for you.
And the readers have spoken, ranking Florence, Italy as the top city in the world.
About 77,000 readers of Condé Nast Traveler rated their favorite cities. So, not very scientific, but it's still fun, right?
Florence was picked because, as the magazine says, it's "a beauty in its art, architecture, history, and cuisine."
And before you ask, no, that's not where George Clooney recently married his wife, Amal. They got married in Venice -- and it actually didn't even make the list.
But Florence is where Kimye wed back in May.
Aside from that, a few American cities made the list too. The most notable was the No. 2 pick of Charleston, South Carolina, which the magazine says is known to be a "foodie city."
Traveler editor-in-chief Pilar Guzman tells CBS: "The little city that could. This has been now fourth year running that is has been so high up on the list."
In both 2011 and 2012, Charleston topped the list. Other American cities that made the list were: Santa Fe, New Mexico (No. 10), New Orleans (No. 17), San Francisco (No. 20) and Chicago (No. 23).
After Florence and Charleston, Budapest, Hungary sealed the No. 3 spot.
