According to US Weekly, embattled "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice is spending her remaining free time making video recordings for her daughters to watch after she heads to jail in January of next year.

The purpose of the videos is so her four girls -- Gia, 13, Gabriella, 10, Milania, 8, and Audriana, 5 -- can still listen to and see their mother when she's not physically present in their New Jersey home.

An unidentified source told the magazine that there will be a video for birthdays, one for holidays, and a video with words of encouragement for when they are upset. E! News reports that dad Joe Giudice will not be in the videos.

Teresa reportedly hopes to finish up the taping project by Thanksgiving, which will give her time to enjoy the holidays with her family. When she is in prison, Joe Giudice will be responsible for their care.

To ensure that someone is home with the children, the judge staggered the duo's sentences. When Teresa finishes her 15-month term in 2016, Joe will begin his sentence of 41 months behind bars. The couple also has to pay $414,000 in restitution, BostonHerald.com reports.

On October 15, Joe Giudice had yet another day in court. He took a plea deal in his state driver's license fraud case, NJ.com reports. He will not have to serve additional time, but he will not be able to drive for two years.
