Bruce Jenner's transformation from Olympic icon to Malibu dude

Bruce Jenner recently made headlines after debuting a new look in Las Vegas -- a layered hairdo.

His flowing locks might be influenced by his new Malibu lifestyle and his son Brandon's own man-bun, but not everyone is a fan of his new style, which he's truly embraced since splitting with Kris Jenner last month.

His step-daughter Kim Kardashian and ex, Kris, revealed their distaste for it on an episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," and onlookers in Vegas reportedly chanted "hair, hair, hair" as he walked by, according to In Touch.

Kendall and Kylie's dad is no stranger to scrutiny about his appearance, even before reality TV fame -- and he's been very open about his changing looks.

Jenner was a total American heartthrob after winning gold in the 1976 Summer Olympics decathlon in Montreal, and the professional athlete went on to appear in a few movies and Wheaties commercials -- but a botched face-lift and nose job in the '80s took a huge toll on his appearance and his self-esteem.

"If you Google my name, the worst plastic surgeries of all time or whatever it is ... they've compared me to Michael Jackson," he said on an episode of "KUWTK."

The Olympian went under the knife again in 2009 to try to correct his unflattering first operation. While Jenner himself was pleased with the results, he still faced plenty of scrutiny and jokes at his expense.

More recently after his split from Kris Jenner, the dad and step-dad of 10 has undergone an Adam's Apple reduction, and he's more notably grown his hair to shoulder-length.

Unfortunately, that also sparked rumors that he's planning on getting a sex change, a claim he has vehemently denied.

After years of following orders from the Kardashian women, we think Jenner deserves to enjoy his new Malibu 'do.
