'Girls' Star Flipping Brooklyn Building
The listing calls the 22-foot wide building a "rare opportunity" to buy a mixed-use property on the East Williamsburg/Bushwick border. The now-pink town house has so many possibilities -- an owner's residence with income-producing units, an investment rental property, or a brand new project with the building potential of over 5,000 square feet with six apartments.
But for now, the property is a 2,508-square-foot triplex with an English basement (aka garden apartment), six bedrooms and four baths. It also features:
- a terraced garden.
- a rooftop with open views.
- a farmhouse-style kitchen.
- proximity to subways.
Bushwick Daily says Mamet bought the building a year ago for $1.039 million. She's now asking $1.6 million – not a bad, half-million profit -- if she can get it.
Could Williamsburg be any hotter? Louisa Gummer, a model and Meryl Streep's youngest daughter, recently purchased a 1,571 square-foot condo there for $1.5 million.
