Local News Station Tweets Porn Link Instead of Weather Map


Memphis residents looking to check a graphic weather radar Tuesday morning instead found something a bit more graphic than they initially believed. Just before 7 am local time WREG Channel 3 tweeted, "Use our interactive radar to track the rain and storms." But then instead of providing a link to the radar, the social media manager included a link to a PornHub account.

For those that don't know, PornHub is a video sharing site, similar to YouTube, that has hundreds of thousands of adult videos available to mobile device users.



The post was eventually removed from the stations twitter account @3OnYourSide, which sounds like a title one might find on the video streaming site, but it wasn't removed before the whole ordeal became a meme.

Trey Heath tweeted an image with the caption, "I asked him to come to bed. He said, 'after I check News Channel 3 radar.'"

At least WREG caught the error and apologized. They also tweeted, "Have you you changed your passwords recently? Take it from us... Do it now. Also, resist public WiFi. For real..."
