United States Central Command (Centcom) released a new video showing footage of the coalition attack on Islamic State fighters in the midst of attack on the Syrian Kurdish town of Kobani Saturday afternoon.

In the video posted to YouTube, an airstrike effectively wipes out an Islamic State controlled compound near Kobani.

Saturday's attack is the first time the U.S.-led coalition has struck forces near the Turkish border, according to Associated Press reports. The ISIS assault on the town has driven upwards of 160,000 refugees into Turkey according to Reuters.

The new footage is the latest in a series of videos that have been released by Centcom since the U.S. launched attacks against the Islamic State in Syria. In clips posted earlier this week, American forces could be seen destroying an ISIL-controlled compound, a storage facility, and a vehicle staging ground.

Another video shot in night vision depicted an F-16 fueling up in midair during the airstrikes with help from a KC-135 Stratotanker.
