Snooki and fiancé welcome baby No. 2

It's a girl for Snooki and her fiancé, Jionni LaValle.

The former "Jersey Shore" star welcomed daughter Giovanna Marie LaValle on Friday and announced the happy news on Twitter.

Snooki announced her second pregnancy in April, and revealed that her due date was "in the fall" around the time of her wedding. She and LaValle, 27, have not revealed their actual wedding date.

This is the second child for the Jersey-based couple. The pair are already parents to 2-year-old son, Lorenzo.

The 26- year-old mother was certainly ready for the arrival of her baby girl.

On Thursday, Snooki wrote a blog post on her website titled "I'm Still Pregnant" and dished on her pregnancy woes and her attempts to make her newborn arrive earlier.

"I feel like I am I going to be overdue. I'm at that point where I can't move, I can't sleep, I'm waking up 20 times throughout the night, rolling out of bed," she lamented. "I tried galloping like a horse, because I heard it will work. I tried working out but that's not doing shit for me. I tried walking but nope that's not happing. I tried eating spicy food, now that's a lot for me because I hate spicy food."

Thankfully, it sounds like all her galloping, walking, and eating spicy food paid off since she is now a proud new mama.
