Sharapova tweets picture of man reading about her on plane
It's not unusual to open up the sports section of a newspaper and find an article on tennis superstar Maria Sharapova, but what is unusual is that the 27-year-old is staring at you while you stare at a picture of her.
The Russian tennis player tweeted an image out Wednesday of a man reading a column about her on an airplane. She wrote, "Hey buddy, I'm right behind you."
To the surprise of no one, the tweet went viral - being retweeted and favorited more than 50,000 times. But by far the coolest part about Sharapova's airplane tweet, despite being one of the highest paid female athletes in the world, she was flying coach.
