Divers Come Face-to-Face With Crocodiles

This is a short compilation of diver and crocodile interactions filmed during a recent expedition led by Andy Murch of Big Fish Expeditions and uploaded by John Nygren. This location is known as Banco Chinchorro, an atoll reef lying off the southeast coast of Quinta Roo, Mexico.

The island is uninhabited apart from a small fisherman outpost and the hundreds of resident crocodiles. The uploader slept in a fishermen's hut, without the luxuries of air conditioning, electricity, running water, or any type of communication besides marine radio. It was a very pioneering endeavor, but he says it was one of the most incredible experiences to be face-to-face with crocodiles.
