Dorky Dads Get Style Updates On 'Meredith Vieira'

With the help of stylist Daisy Lewellyn, talk show host Meredith Vieira proved it's not (too) hard to give the stereotypical "dad style" the boot.

Oh yeah men, you know what we're talking about - the pulled-up-sock-and-sandal combo, Hawaiian printed button-ups, high-waisted pants. The dreaded list goes on and on.

A few ladies got tired of their dads' outdated looks, so they decided to help them find the style they seemed to have lost long ago (sometime around 1972, perhaps).

After a trip to TJ Maxx and Banana Republic, Robert, the dad who threw out his Christmas color scheme and extra-tight jacket, was voted best makeover.

And for you guys looking to switch things up, Lewellyn's book, "Never Pay Retail Again," is available in stores and online now.
